FAQs
Short answers based on the current product. This page is not a legal policy and does not claim complete compliance.
- What does SoapBox currently support?
- In the iPhone app, a signed-in member can browse Topics, open a topic and read posts, create a text post, report a post, block a post’s author, contact Safety & Support, and delete an account from Settings.
- Is the app service available right now?
- No. The hosted app service is not open to the public right now. This website is informational only. It is not a live product endpoint and does not offer signup or sign-in.
- Who can create an account?
- People under 13 are blocked from creating an account. Ages 13–17 remain unavailable until real parent permission and the operations behind it are ready. Ages 18 and older follow the normal signup path in the iPhone app when that service is operating. This is not a claim that signup is live today.
- How do reporting and blocking work?
- A member can report an objectionable post from the topic view. A member can also block that post’s author. Blocking hides later posts from that author for the member who blocked them. It is not account suspension and not a complete moderation system.
- How do I delete my account?
- Account deletion is started from Settings in the iPhone app. This website does not provide a delete-account control and does not collect a deletion request.
- How do I contact Safety & Support?
- Email support@soapboxrepublic.com. Opening that link does not send a message by itself. Details are on Safety & Support, including the one-to-three-business-day reply aim.
- Is there a published Privacy Policy?
- Yes. The Privacy Policy covers this informational website and the support mailbox only. It does not cover a live mobile data collection product, live product accounts, or live Political Profile, Civic Participation, or Civic Credibility collection. It is not legal advice and does not claim GDPR or CCPA compliance.
- Does this website track me?
- No. These pages have no forms, cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party scripts. The host keeps short-term technical and security logs, which the Privacy Policy describes.
